Center Pointe family,

God has been so faithful to us. This week I’ve seen Him answer prayer after prayer, some that I and others have been praying for a long time. I hope that you are encouraged by the faithfulness of our God this week! This Sunday we’ll have a great opportunity to worship Him. Scott Brooks, a friend, pastor, and mentor to me, is coming down to join and lead us in worship. He loves Jesus and is a GREAT worship leader! My prayer is that we would all experience the presence of Christ this Sunday in a way that refreshes our spirits. And I know that our God is faithful to answer as we pray together!

• March 7th -  Pastor Scott Brooks leads in worship and teaching of the Word of God.

• 2010 LENT CHALLENGE. Did you take the CHALLENGE? Share what God is showing you through his word!  Click here to encourage others by leaving comments on the web page as we read through Isaiah and John! The Lent Readings 2010 booklet and CDs will continue to be available on the info table this Sunday (2/28) or download the reading guide from the website.

• BAPTISM. Publicly celebrating our death to sin and our new life in Christ is an exciting and significant part of the Christian journey. If you would like to be baptized on Easter Sunday, April 4th, during the Worship Gathering, or if you’re just interested in finding out more about what Baptism is join us for a baptism class on Sunday night March 21st at 6:00 p.m. you can follow this link to sign up. This one hour class will help you know what baptism is and why we do it – bring your questions!

• BECOME A FAN. Center Pointe is on Facebook! Search for ”What God is Doing at Center Pointe Church” and become a fan. You can stay up to date on events, share prayer requests and praises, and introduce your friends to our community.

• YOUTH GROUP. Center Pointe Students will be meeting at the Center Pointe Church Offices for Youth Group on Sunday night from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

• The REAL LIVE Easter Party – Will be held on March 27th as an outreach event to children and families. Mark your calendars, give your friends a flier and sign up to help out!

• Starting Pointe – If you are new to Center Pointe within the last six months there will be a get-to-know-us meeting after Worship Gathering on March 28th.  More information will be online, in the mail and in next week’s CP Update.
