News, Updates and Events!

  • SUNDAY MAY 30 :: We will be studying chapter 5:16 – 5:47 in John’s Gospel with Pastor Josh.  This weekend during the worship gathering we will be celebrating the commitment of parents to raise their children in the ways of the Lord and dedicating their little ones to God.  If you have not yet been able to sign up to dedicate your child to the Lord please call the church office so that one of the pastors can meet with you and set everything up!
  • COMPASSION / BENEVOLENCE FUND :: In each month that has a 5th Sunday, Center Pointe gathers money for people in the Centerburg community who have need.  Prayerfully consider what you and your family can give to help.
  • YOUTH GROUP :: Service Quads start this Wednesday night.  We will have groups going around Centerburg serving people.  Everything kicks off at 7pm.  Feel free to invite your friends!
  • CENTER POINTE SUMMER NIGHTS :: Because we LOVE to eat at Center Pointe we are going to be getting together on a few summer nights to hang out as a big church family.  Grab your family, a friend, and a Frisbee and join us for a small taste of community at Centerburg Park on the following dates this summer: June 20, July 18 & August 22
  • CENTER POINTE HAS SOCIAL SKILLS :: Center Pointe is on Facebook and now Twitter! You can stay up to date on events, share prayer requests and praises, and introduce your friends to the Center Pointe family.
  • SUNDAY June 6 :: Chris and Marie Lang will be joining us for the next two weeks during the worship gathering. They have served in leadership for many years at Xenos Christian Fellowship in Columbus. Chris was a part of the pastoral staff at Xenos and is currently transitioning his ministry to work with Frontiers missions agency. Frontiers is a church planting ministry reaching the Muslim world. They have about 850 missionaries in over 40 countries. Chris is joining their staff as the Associate Director of Training. One of the greatest needs for missionary candidates today is a greater biblical knowledge. Chris is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and brings over 20 years of teaching and training experience to serve candidates preparing to minister overseas.Marie and Chris have been married 24 years. They have three children: Isaac who died in ’97, Max who is 11 and Margeaux, 7. Marie is a trained Art Therapist who specializes in working with children who are grieving or have experienced trauma. They are currently raising support in order to join the ministry at Frontiers.

  • GOAL KEEPERS :: Center Pointe’s Summer soccer league kicks off Tuesday July 6th.  Register online, at a Center Pointe worship gathering, or by dropping off your information and payment at the Center Pointe office. Early-bird pricing is $30 per child.  Registration goes up to $35 dollars per child on June 11th.  Coaches… if you have children who are playing you will receive a 50% discount on each registration!  Visit www.centerpointecma.com/gk for more information!
