On February 19th, staff from the camp will be at our Worship Gathering to share the amazing things God is doing there. It’s going to be a Beulah Beach party!

Parents and kids: Come excited to get signed up for a camp this summer.

College students: Looking for a cool summer job and an opportunity to show God’s love to some kids. Come ready to fill out an application!

After the Worship Gathering, there will be a “Countdown to Camp” party for you and family to talk with Beulah Beach staff and find out more about the opportunities available to you.

Thy Kingdom Come will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at Centerburg Elementary School on Thursday, December 22nd.

Nursery care for infants and toddlers will be available.

Doors open at 6:30pm with Christmas cookies and punch and live acoustic Christmas carols.

Thy Kingdom Come will begin at 7:00pm.

What is it? Am I a part of it? How do I be a part of seeing it grow?

During the month of May, we’ll be talking about the Kingdom of God during our Worship Gatherings. Pastor Clint will be leading the conversation and focusing on what God is doing to build his kingdom at the Pickerington church plant. Listen to those messages here.

Worship Gatherings at Center Pointe are fun, casual, with upbeat music and messages that communicate God’s heart clearly and in a compelling way. We meet at Centerburg Elementary School at 10am. We hope to see you there!

DGTCBTC Weekend

So much for the simplicity of abbreviations! What do those letters mean anyway? DON’T GO TO CHURCH. BE THE CHURCH WEEKEND is the weekend we cancel our Sunday Worship Gathering and spend Sunday INVESTING God’s love into the community without expectation of return. We will build, clean, rake, paint… basically whatever we can find to do to serve the community!

Join us May 15  to “Be the Church” in Centerburg!

EMBRACE THE BURG ::

Sunday Schedule (if you have not been contacted to help with the car show)

9:00am – Meet at CP Office for light breakfast and prayer
9:30am – Go out in teams to different service projects
12:00pm – Lunch at CP Office
1:00pm – Redeploy to service projects (you may have your team or project changed at this time)
5:00pm – Dinner at CP Office and sharing stories

Things To Bring:

• work gloves
• comfortable shoes
• Center Pointe t-shirt (we still have some you can buy! $7 each. $8 for XXL and larger)
• shovels
• paint supplies
• ladders – we need several!
• water bottles
• lawn chair
• rakes
• gardening tools

• SUNDAY June 6 :: Chris and Marie Lang will be joining us for the next two weeks during the worship gathering. They have served in leadership for many years at Xenos Christian Fellowship in Columbus. Chris was a part of the pastoral staff at Xenos and is currently transitioning his ministry to work with Frontiers missions agency. Frontiers is a church planting ministry reaching the Muslim world. They have about 850 missionaries in over 40 countries. Chris is joining their staff as the Associate Director of Training. One of the greatest needs for missionary candidates today is a greater biblical knowledge. Chris is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and brings over 20 years of teaching and training experience to serve candidates preparing to minister overseas.Marie and Chris have been married 24 years. They have three children: Isaac who died in ’97, Max who is 11 and Margeaux, 7. Marie is a trained Art Therapist who specializes in working with children who are grieving or have experienced trauma. They are currently raising support in order to join the ministry at Frontiers.

• YOUTH GROUP ::  Wednesday night the teens will continue their study in Jonah – don’t miss this “fish story”!  Everything kicks off at 7pm.  Feel free to invite your friends!

• SUNDAY MAY 30 :: We will be studying chapter 5:16 – 5:47 in John’s Gospel with Pastor Josh.  This weekend during the worship gathering we will be celebrating the commitment of parents to raise their children in the ways of the Lord and dedicating their little ones to God.  If you have not yet been able to sign up to dedicate your child to the Lord please call the church office so that one of the pastors can meet with you and set everything up!

• COMPASSION / BENEVOLENCE FUND :: In each month that has a 5th Sunday, Center Pointe gathers money for people in the Centerburg community who have need.  Prayerfully consider what you and your family can give to help.

• YOUTH GROUP :: Service Quads start this Wednesday night.  We will have groups going around Centerburg serving people.  Everything kicks off at 7pm.  Feel free to invite your friends!
