Ministry Partners

Ministry Partners

We partner with several organizations in the area that hold the same ideals that we hold, such as the protection, preservation, and bettering of our neighbors’ lives, along with encouraging encounters with Jesus Christ. You can check out more information on these organizations by following the links below.

Starting Point

Starting Point is Knox County’s Pregnancy Crisis Clinic. It is a place of information, assistance, and care, providing women of all backgrounds and situations with pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, abortion recovery and sexual risk avoidance education. Every service they provide is provided at no cost, because the lives of mothers, babies and fathers are the priority.

Touch Pointe Knox County

Touch Pointe is a first step for those looking for emotional or relational support in times of marital or family crisis. They’re not psychologists or counselors, but trained volunteers that want to walk through the problems together, assessing what resources might be needed, such as counselors, and putting families in touch with those that can help. If you don’t know where to start, Touch Pointe is the place to go.

Beulah Beach

Beulah Beach is our local C&MA year-round camp and retreat center. Located up on the shores of Lake Erie, it offers tons of events, activities, and ministry opportunities for every group; school-age kids, teens, families, fathers, mothers, single parents, you name it. And beyond the camps, one-day events, and fun runs that we love to be a part of, they offer cabins that can be rented any time of the year, just to get away.

Interchurch Social Services

Interchurch Social Services, based in Mount Vernon, is a multifaceted organization spread throughout the county to help people in need. We work closest with the Centerburg branch across the street from our office. They care about those who can’t quite make it on their own. Their services provide rent and utility assistance, food pantries, and the thrift shop with rock bottom prices for those that can’t afford retail stores (completely stocked with donations). They also are the local organizers of charity events like Food for the Hungry and United Way.
